Our Home away from Home. Our Home away from HomeCapella is an experience ! Our three week long stay was absolutely idyllic from the moment we got there. Our room Magnolia was perfect for the four of us. A giant king size bed and an extra bed for our son ensured that all our nights were comfortable. We loved the breakfasts and enjoyed the fresh fruit everyday. A hearty vegetarian lunch was always on offer whenever we wanted so the kids never missed ‘ghar ka khana’. Access to the kitchen made travelling with a toddler really easy since we were able to whip up whatever she wanted to eat. Seema spoiled the kids with the yummiest pakoras with tea every evening. Elsa and the kitties amused and intrigued our kids, and they enjoyed following them around. Capella was a perfect retreat for my elderly parents who enjoyed their stay on the ground floor. The steps are easy to climb as long as you do it slowly. The pool was the perfect way to end our days and the entire family enjoyed swimming and relaxing almost every evening. Ayesha also has a wonderful collection of books all over the house so one never gets bored. A gorgeous wooden swing big enough for three overlooking the courtyard kept our son and daughter entertained for hours. Seema, Chand and Geeta indulged all our requests and truly made each day perfect. Ayesha’s warm, easygoing and attentive manner permeates all the spaces in this stunning home. The decor is beautiful without it being intimidating for families with frisky little ones. Even 3 weeks at Capella felt too short by the end of it. So we’re already planning our next trip.

A relaxing holiday at Capella! The location is accessible by road and offers ample parking space, ensuring a hassle-free arrival for those with their own vehicles. Having a grocery store nearby was incredibly convenient for any last-minute needs or snacks.Ayesha and her staff are immensely warm and caring, making you feel at home. The process of booking including arrangements for our arrival at the property, was seamless. The airport pick up and drop for my friend was convenient and stress free.The house is impeccably clean and organized, reflecting the hostess' attention to detail. The tasteful and quirky decorations, amazing collection of books created a cozy, homely atmosphere. My teenage daughter particularly enjoyed the posters of old advertisements that adorned the walls, as they added a nostalgic charm to the place. She enjoyed the company of pet natives – cats and sweet old Elsa.The bedrooms were spacious, couches and beds cozy with clean and fresh sheets.The meals provided were simple yet incredibly delicious. They do not serve dinner however provide several recommendations for the guests to order from external delivery services like Zomato/ Swiggy, which is a great option for those seeking variety. The welcome brochure has sufficient information regarding the nearby places / restaurants to visit and has contacts listed for the taxi and scooter rental options.Capella has an inviting pool, which is well-maintained and not too deep, making it perfect for both relaxation and socializing. Whether sitting or standing in the pool or relishing a refreshing drink / a book by the poolside, it provided the ideal setting for unwinding and enjoying the lush green landscaping. We did not feel the need to step out during the day.Capella is highly recommended to anyone seeking a homely and comfortable stay. I am certain that Ayesha’s warm hospitality and attention to detail will make your visit just as delightful as mine. Looking forward to revisit soon.

Best location and lovely stay It feels so fortuante to be able to stay in property which was somebody's home once. Capella has a character to itself. Every corner is styled so beautifully and elegantly that nothing seems over the top. For me it was the house that I fell in love with. We went there with family friends and stayed on first floor. Bedrooms are huge and give you a royal feel. It's not one of your call room service but everything was available when we needed it. Kitchen was accessible and I could use it if I needed to cook something for my young daughter. Thanks to the swimming pool, we could beat the summer heat. Fridge was right at patio where we could store our beers. A very thoughtfully done stay and lovingly managed by staff and Ayesha. Would definitely plan a second visit.

Beautiful! Fed my soul What an amazing place is Capella. A space could not be more beautiful, tasteful and welcoming. Exquisitely appointed, this lovely home exuded warmth - and this was reinforced by the warmth of our host Ayesha, her friendly and helpful staff led by Seema, and the stately dog Elsa and three characterful felines. The bookshelves are populated with the same titles we have in ours at home; the pool is cool and inviting. I spotted a peacock and a kingfisher while sitting on the porch, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. We have definitely found our home away from home, and I can see this becoming a permanent fixture on our travel map. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay.

A relaxing and refreshing stay Capella is a beautiful quiet home where we had a most relaxing holiday. The large rooms and bathrooms, the tasteful wooden furniture, a patio by the side of a pool filled with clean rainwater, cupboards full of books, a fridge with beer... idyllic. Ayesha, Seema and the other staff are gracious, warm and cheerful hosts. My favourite part of the stay was waking up early and sitting on the terrace listening to the birds in the forest patch around the house, and then enjoying a nice cool swim in the pool. A bonus - the three cats and dog thanks to whom I never had to worry where my little girl was!

Lovely n memorable stay! We loved our stay at Capella Home stay. My kids aged 7 and 4 years, we're very comfortable. Ayesha and team did an awesome job. The breakfast and lunch was perfect for the kids - simple yet tasty. Ayesha's recommendations were very helpful especially Konkan explorers.

Ayesha and her staff were kind, welcoming and made us feel completely at home. This is a beautiful property with grand luxurious rooms with balcony and a cosy sitout, a stunning pool and cats and a dog that just sealed the deal for our 9 year old. Breakfast meals were simple and healthy and the homemade lunches gave us a welcome break from all the gorging at Goa's fantastic dining. The privacy is just perfect, enjoyable interaction with the staff and other guests but plenty of alone/family time. We happily spent some hot afternoons indoors playing board games made available. Excellent Absolutely loved the stay. It was quaint, beautifully done up, peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The host was very accommodating - 1. Even though we had not informed in advance, she had no problem in letting our friend stay with us for a day.2. We had a pretty late flight to catch and checked out at 7 pm instead of the usual 12 noon check out timing.The helpers were really sweet, the cats were super cute and friendly, the breakfast was simple but delicious… Thanks for the wonderful stay 😊

Beautiful Capella We had a great time in capella. It's totally away from hustle n bustle of Goa and at the same time very well located. Actually this house is just what we needed - it has a pool for our kiddo to be busy, great homely food, lovely host Ayesha, clean and spacious room and very well located, lovely staff. It's 10 out of 10.

Pure Bliss! Excellent property with the most welcoming and accommodating hosts- will be back in the future. We had the most incredible room and the amenities were second to none. The staff were friendly and went the extra mile!
